For an accurate and clean cut
At the heart of the new hedge trimmers are the laser- and diamond-ground blades. The counter-rotating movement of the dual-action blades ensures a clean and even cut at different cutting angles. The cleverly designed blade geometry of the EasyCut allows more branches to be held between the teeth during the cutting process, ensuring a clean cut without the need for multiple passes.
The GARDENA EasyCut 45/18V has a 45 centimetre long blade and cuts branches with a diameter of up to 15 millimetres, while the GARDENA EasyCut 55/18V has a blade length of 55 centimetres and cuts branches of up to 17 millimetres.
An integrated impact protection on the end of the blade protects the blade from damage when working close to the ground, especially when cutting along walls, floors or fences.
Ergonomics for comfortable working
The low weight of the hedge trimmers and the ergonomic loop shaped handle enable comfortable handling in different cutting positions. This reduces the strain on the arms and wrists – especially when cutting in densely vegetated and challenging areas.
Designed with application in mind
The trimmers activate with a double start function, to help prevent any unintentional switching on while carrying the trimmer or using it with one hand. After the work is done, the hanging gadget on the device ensures practical storage on the wall.
With battery for more flexibility
Both hedge trimmers are powered by the 18 V system battery of the Power for All Alliance1. This fits into a wide range of other garden tools from GARDENA, but can also be used within the alliance in more than 100 products across brands for more than 100 different applications in the home and garden. This gives garden owners wireless flexibility.
